Zoonotic Disease

What if a website could be used as a source of learning through interactive information design?

Zoonotic Disease

UIUX, Web, Information Design

Zoonotic Disease Awareness is an interactive website designed to teach the young and old about Zoonosis. Using flat vector graphics and simple yet consistent diagrams, the user is able to visually compare, contrast, and memorize the different types of zoonosis more efficiently. This project is a tool for both teaching and learning, and shows how information design plays a larger role in understanding and comprehension.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

Designer Statement

My favorite part about this project is that it united all of the information I'd learned about Zoonosis into one cohesive design, with consistent hierarchy and information organization that makes sense. A person no longer has to do all of the digging on Zoonosis, they can find it all in one place that makes it easy to understand. Through this project, I realized that organizing should be the first step a designer takes when they are making decisions on UIUX projects. This project ignited a passion in me, as I realized that how we learn can truly shift to be something more visual and interactive in the future.
